We work with a wide range of clients in the entertainment industry. With that experience we have developed a straightforward and flexible billing procedure to meet the complex needs of clients around the world.

$500 YouTube Channel Setup Cost

Applied directly to your Google Ad spend

100% of your setup fee will be used directly for your Google Ads costs as part of your weekly retainer budget (read below about weekly retainer budgets). So why do we charge a setup fee? It funds your Google Ads spending account and also helps to ensure we are managing our time wisely with new clients. Conducting a full onboarding process requires:

  • Setup and configuration of new Google Ads accounts.
  • Setup and configuration of new Google Analytics accounts.
  • Syncing of data between YouTube/Google Ads API bridges to Data Studio.
  • Setup and building of custom reports in Data Studio.
  • Full communication access to us via phone and email.

Never pay for more than what you use

Hardly Creative does not charge a monthly fee nor do we have monthly spend requirements. After you are setup as a client you are free to run as many or as few video campaigns as you’d like, we will always be here ready for you.

You will also be able to transparently monitor exact cost data for every campaign and cost per view expenses in Google Data Studio which pulls data in real-time from the Google Ads API.

Weekly Billing Cycle

Invoices dispatched every Monday

We bill every Monday for what you spent in the previous 7 days. The weekly retainer budget is prepaid (explained below).

All payments are processed via Stripe or GoCardless depending on your country location and preferred method of payment. Hardly Creative uses Chargebee to centrally manage all client billing globally.

Payment methods include: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, ACH (U.S.), SEPA (EU), Giropay (Germany), iDEAL (Netherlands), Bancontact (Belgium), and GoCardless with TransferWise integration.

Weekly Retainer Budget

Providing you flexibility in scaling

Depending on the volume and scale of your campaign requirements, we will provide you with an estimate of what the weekly cost would be in Google Ads to accomplish your campaign goal. We will then set that as your weekly retainer budget and charge upfront for that week’s expected cost. Each Monday after that, you are just billed for exactly what you spend. In essence you are “refilling” the budget each week.

Example: If we create a channel campaign with a $1,000 weekly budget, you’ll be charged $1,000 upfront. If you spend $450 of the budget that week, you’ll be billed just $450 on Monday when the campaign budget refills. If you spent $0 of the budget (no campaigns running), you won’t be charged on the following Monday.

All campaign refill charges are aggregated into one single charge. You will see “Hardly Creative” on your credit card statement as the billing name.

Contact us to change the Retainer Budget. We can only adjust the budget once per week due to the time factors involved in updating all campaign budget pacing and Data Studio updates.

If the Retainer Budget needs to increase for new campaign requirements set by the client, the difference between the current and new budget will be charged immediately with the credit card on file.

If the Retainer Budget decreases we will continue spending the difference and will only initiate a new charge the following week if Google Ads costs are greater than the difference of budgets.

Refund Policy

Need to cancel service? Not a problem.

Our setup fee is non-refundable. But refunds are possible for any part of the budget we have charged you for but hasn’t yet been spent by Google Ads. The exact amount that Google Ads has charged from the budget will always be available to you in Data Studio which refreshes in real-time.

If you need to cancel our services, contact us immediately and we will pause all your active campaigns ASAP during business hours. From there we will take steps to calculate how much budget remains and issue you a refund through your payment processor.
