Capabilities

Clean, connect, and own the company knowledge your AI tools need to be useful.

Hardly Creative builds the layer that makes AI useful inside a company: the documents, records, procedures, and source-of-truth rules that hold the real work. Own that context first, then use whichever model, tool, or workflow fits the job. This is a solo practice. Trevor Loucks does the work.

Own your context. Stay model-agnostic.

AI earns its place when a business owns its context. The durable asset is not a prompt, a chatbot, or a single model vendor. It is the operating memory of the company: the documents, customer records, procedures, dashboards, decisions, and the rule that says which source wins when two disagree.

Hardly Creative builds that layer so it can feed clean context into any model, API, or workflow as the tools change underneath it. Models get cheaper and better every quarter. A well-organized context layer keeps paying off across all of them, and it keeps the leverage with you: your data and your edge stay in systems you own, independent of any single AI provider.

I run my own operation this way, on a context architecture I've been building and using in production this year: durable knowledge in one place, live state in the systems of record, and a clear approval point before anything acts outside the company.

What Hardly Creative builds

AI Operations Deployment

The core practice. One week onsite, four to six weeks total, a fixed project fee, and an AI operations layer the client owns and can run without me. Offered as a paid readiness audit, a full Company Brain Deployment Sprint, or an ongoing retainer.

Context Engineering & Company Brain

Knowledge architecture, source-of-truth hierarchy, retrieval boundaries, and RAG knowledge systems where retrieval improves a named workflow or decision. The rules for which data stays internal, which data can be used with approved AI services, who can access it, and who approves exceptions.

Data Analytics & Reporting

Dashboards, KPI definitions, attribution views, data cleanup, transformations, and scheduled reporting built around the decisions people actually make.

Cloud & Web Platforms

Production builds in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Vercel, plus connections to existing Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS resources when a project needs them.

API Integrations & Workflow Automation

Platform API pulls, webhooks, imports, exports, scheduled jobs, and small internal tools that retire manual copy-paste work, each with an approval gate before it touches anything outside the company.

CRM, Ad-Tech & Measurement

HubSpot and CRM cleanup, sensible pipeline setup, and reporting views, plus digital ad-platform measurement: conversion tracking, landing-page data, and budget visibility. Measurement, not media buying.

How the work usually starts

Every engagement opens with the same first move: map the operating memory. Where knowledge lives, which systems are authoritative, what is messy, and which tasks repeat often enough to justify automating them.

Then clean the source systems before layering AI on top. Automate a mess and you get a faster mess. Once the sources are trustworthy, I ship something small and real: inbox triage, CRM next actions, document Q&A, a reporting assistant, a dashboard refresh, or an API-connected internal tool. Proof first, scope second.

The full onsite version of this process lives on the AI Operations Deployment page.

Owned systems and operator experience

Dynamoi

An owned ad-tech and marketing-operations system, built and operated in-house. It demonstrates hands-on engineering and operations; it is not a client case study.

Own context architecture

The production knowledge-and-operations layer behind this practice — source-of-truth hierarchy, decision logs, reusable project memory — built and run this year. Internal proof of method, not a client case study.

Performance marketing since 2005

Two decades across paid media, affiliate systems, reporting, and the web infrastructure underneath them.
